In this tutorial, Adam Dorn (aka Mocean Worker) uses an early alpha version of Record to do a remix for UK soul singer Alice Russell's song 'All alone'.

So you get a hardware SSL mixer channel or RECORD just created software graphics that look like a SSL mixer channel?
It looks like it is horses for courses in both cases.
In case the other programs make you "build" your mixer, there's at least one that comes with a full mixer look off the bat - Digital Performer. All I am trying to say that this feature it is not innovative and it isn't central to only this DAW.

kan you use mbox as ur sound card in reason 5, without installing pro tools...
