This is a 900Mhz Motorola Canopy unit with a 13db antenna that is being used on Internode's ( www.internode.on.net ) Wireless Broadband. 95% of the District Council of Yorke Peninsula in South Australia now has some for of Internode Wireless broadband( This Hardware was used in stage 2 of internodes Wireless Broadband )& is running a 3000k connection

  • This is what got mounted on houses to give them Broadband, made for area's that had no access to adsl broadband or do not have a home phone line.

  • I don't even know how 900 works any longer with as saturated as everything is this was either way high on someones roof or they are sitting pretty on a hill I HATE 900 gear because it only works in realllllyyy remote places and its the most expensive to manufacture.

  • Some places vpol works. I stick with hpol myself.

  • this is the best internet you can get in rural places

  • wireless connection to internet

  • I have that in Rural parts in Wisconsin and as we speak mine is on my house

  • Very cool. I've sometimes wondered how broadband would be piped into outlying areas. Now I know. Thanks for the explanation.
