My Z31 after the Turbo swap. Doesnt run right. No torque no power. Even when its warmed up it does this. Wont go over 3k while driving. I changed the MAF sensor to one that i know is good. Other than that i have no idea what it could be. :/

  • start pulling plug wires tell u which cyl not not firing

  • @dapipelayer01

Did that. The whole thing is just fucked up.

  • That's a definite miss my friend. I had something like this pop up and it was corrosion on the fuel injector connector. A little cleaning and she runs beautifully to this day. Very easy to miss!

  • @TearingRaven That could be something to check too. That could make my job way easier. lol

  • Sounds like you run out of gas.

    Injectors!!

  • you guessed right. well you injectors are pretty dirty and 1 or 2 are just pretty clog up, run lucas fuel injector cleaner, and 2 make sure you got the right fuel pressure just put or install a psi gauge between the fuel filter and the fuel rail. then keep a eye in the fuel pressure. but putting the psi guage you be able to diagnose any other problem if it not your injectors.

  • Sounds like the injectors then.

Check the connections on all of them before pulling the car apart and having them cleaned.

If that doesn't work, check spark plugs and ignition leads.

  • I believe its fust the injectors being in serious need of cleaning. They were out of the donor car for almost a year before i got them in the car. Dont believe they are out of time either. I didnt have to take the belt off and i didnt change anything with the distributor cap when i had it off.

  • When was the last time you changed the air in the tires? Depending on what kind of air you put in you may be due for a change.

  • Was it running roughly when you checked the compression? Motors can change in two months.

A motor needs spark, fuel and compression to fire, and they all have to be timed correctly.
