3" SP101 with 158 gr JSP .357 magnum. Shot into a coffee container filled with old used coffee filters.

Shooting down sights with camera was hard to see, 2nd shot was fired at a hole in the snow that I thought was the can.. *face palm Thats why the later "1st person" view wasn't done down sights.

  • i hope the "coffee" was still in that container.

  • @leloodallasmultipass the coffee pot i have has a reusable filter, that I rinse out, I put the grounds in the old container. So it was full of damp used coffee grounds. Not sure I get your comment though, with the quotes, and why it would matter.

  • Somehow I just knew that 6th shot would be a dud.

  • @GomerfromIsaan haha yeah, I don't normally count. That way I can check for a flinch.

  • Try to absorb the recoil like a man.

  • @JohnnyRugged06 I think I'm doing alright for a small .357. the first person view is done one handed.

  • @Halvorson i am dissing your folgers;)... in a lighthearted way, of course.

  • @Ulysses1994XF04 I'd give a thumbs-up to ya, but that was the most annoying goddamn commercial. I always felt like the smug bitch and metrosexual husband (or daughter/mother/sister) didn't even have jobs. I think the bastards just watched the sun come up with a cup of coffee and then went right the hell back to bed. Not hating on that concept, but to hell with them and that shitty coffee. BTW - Nice gun/video Halvorsan!

  • @Halvorson Yeah, good practice. I took my wife out practicing recently - 2nd time shooting. Each time I let her take that 6th "shot" (she wasn't counting) and then talked to her about flinching. I do the same thing.

  • @GomerfromIsaan disappointing isn't it!

  • Looks to me like you're handling the recoil just fine. I have a Taurus, same shape and size. The full magnums are uncomfortable. I have found that the light recoil .357s are just right for that gun. Remington makes a 110gr JHP, vel. 1300fps ( from a 4 inch barrel). Those are very pleasant to shoot yet adequate for most situations.

As much as I'd like to carry it in my pocket, I think it would be too big. I would need a holster.

  • I like the sound! Nice shooting ! I just ordered mine in 3 inch. Its a tank!
