erm....I don't really want to see this race as it is best to leave well alone. Let One Man rest in peace. He is running free in Heaven with Dessie.

One Man was one of the greatest racehorses in my lifetime, his memory will live on forever, I know that curiosity peaks and some wish to see how his death happened, but we do not ask to see Princess Diana die, we just want to remember how she was, please let this be the case for this great horse, let him live in your memory not the last pictures of him as he died! RIP Oh mighty One Man XXX

You know what I done exactly the same..I have tons of videos of old racing and somewhere that race will be on one of them...but like you ive never searched for it again..was too sad to see again.

If someone wants to watch the race where One Man dies, that is their choice. Poeple often gawp at tragedies, 911 anyone? That wasn't shown on TV or web - much.
As for Princess D, not many weeks go past where a paper/TV channel isn't going over some aspect of her death. I don't see Diana's death as more tragic than any other person who dies at her age. The media hype & disturbing emotional outpouring, which you prob took part in, Ton&Clif, is more unpleasant to me than a racehorse dieing. Zip

one man was a great horse proper beast to win a champion chase at his age what a horse he even had the stamina to win over 3 miles 1 1/2 furlongs just a great great great horse simple as
I remember the interview with gordon Richards after one mans death. He spoke with a great sadness of looking out of his kitchen window in a morning and not seeing him in the box opposite..I also remeber the front cover of the racing post showing that fantastic horse leaping a fence..
Sadly missed but as far as Im concerned will never be forgotten....Good on ya One Man and you Sir Gordon Richards..R I P

Sadly Gordon Richards died half a year later from cancer (he wasn't knighted - you're thinking of the jockey with the same name).
