By the Center for Independence of the Disabled-NY. This video, made by CIDNY's Consumer Action Network, shows how inaccessible polling-sites and inaccessible ballot machines have been a barrier in allowing disabled voters to vote privately and independently in the community. Information about voting rights, civil rights, and new accessible machines in New York City is also included.
@dave2806 Accessible voting is a HUGE issue in the U.S. Believe it or not, I live in a mid-sized town, and our voting systems and places are better than some in large cities.

This was very informative. My sister was recently injured and is now quadrapalegic. She didnt vote because it was made way too difficult for her.

Most accessibility problems can be fixed by simply putting yourself in the shoes - or on the wheels - of the person in a wheelchair, from the front of the building into the polling place and up to the polling booth.
