Viper Offroad gokart on the wheels!

Finally got the wheels on, the brake caliper tacked on, the motor mounted on the sprocket, and the front steering welded up. Here's a quick video, please don't make fun of the shoes, they are my wife's.

very soft mounting on front wheel. This need simply parallel "A" arms. Two simply tubes are very soft...

@3kocur You are correct, they did bend. They have been replaced with A-Arms that have held up perfectly.

please tell me which is cheaper to build the viper offroad , the viper st/stx or the viper 2 seater???????

Anything without suspension would be cheaper to build. Adding the suspension meant that I had to buy the shocks and more metal to make a more complicated frame.

To go ultra cheap by everything you can used and don't make a kart with suspension.

Categorically speaking, this would be a buggy. Karts don't have suspension.

very nice but i would like to know how the rear end held up . did it have any weak spots ? i am planing on building one soon and my plan has the drive gear and brake inside the frame
