They are design and built as a mid-field/main alternatives to the LSR 6328p series which are the bookshelf sized, near- field industry standard monitors. More power and headroom in the mids and lows with the woven Kevlar midrange driver added along with the 12 inch bass driver for the largest control rooms. The tweeter is identical in the 6328's. The 6332 however, are passive and unconventionally input equipped, requiring amps and binding post speaker cable VS XLR inputs in the 6328.

LOL I'm glad I watched this before I bought a pair expecting them to fit on my desk top :D

Awesome speakers, if your budget allows them.

They are +1db,-1.5db from 60hz to 22khz. So yes, they are extremely accurate.

did you set them up with the LSR6312SP SUB??? I understand it has a 260W amp for a 12 inch driver, It seems a bit underpowered to complement a pair of 6332 monitors, did it sound ok???

I know JBL market those as studio monitors but they kinda seem a bit like PA/concert/club equipment like the EON series, does anyone know if these are intended for precision like Genelecs or Dynaudios or are these more or a high precision LOUD speaker??? but not necessarily accurate.

JBL Strikes Back! I'm a JBL user of a DIY JBL 4645 loaded with the JBL 2240 and control 5 and 1. That LSR is thing of awesome beauty I'd like to have the money for four and use them as LCR fronts.
They outperform those by any and all means. They are studio monitors at its very best, uncompressed and correct reproduction.
