hello sa lahat lalong lalo na sa ating mga butihing guro ng combat judo at sa minamahal naming mga grand masters canete borthers n family, isa din akong member ng combatjudo jeddah chapter ( master frank solitario ) pero d po mataas ang belt ko pero ayos lang at may natutunan ako, maganda ang naging development sa akin, mabuhay ang combat judo ! mr. rowel ulep

NOT true. Judo is popular as a sport, but it can also be combatative. When you keep practicing your judo kata, you're doing COMBAT judo. When you're rather busy with competitions, you do SPORT judo. Only because judo is popular as a sport doesn't mean it is only a sport. When Jiguro Kano invented judo it wasn't meant to be a sport at all.

mind your own business. why? is there any prohibation of using any words such as judo. it is the filipino way of using these words in their martial arts style and we have our right.

jujitsu is a japanese art and judo was invented by someone who wanted to do it but couldn't because he was to small. gentle way or judo is actually an extremely dangerous art. combat judo where punches and kick exist is indeed not judo.

JUDO means GENTLE WAY, so COMBAT JUDO MEANS: COMBAT GENTLE WAY? the meaning is conflict, and in Japan there is no such thing, if its a filipino art why ur using japanese word like Judo and Japanese Gi as an outfit? maybe you guys dont know that the combat style of Judo is Japanese Juijitsu, when converted in to a sport its Judo..
