The short lived 1979 KYW Eyewitness News theme was reused for a talk radio station in NY briefly in 1982. Here is some extremely rare promo footage.

This HAD to have been a prototype ad, for the following reasons...
1. If it's for a station in New York, why does it have K Call letters when they Should be starting with a W?
2. New York didn't have any FM talk stations in 1982, only on AM.
3. There was NEVER a KKTR FM Or AM station in existence in 1982. Although there is currently a KKTR based in Kirksville, MO at 89.7FM.
No ifs, and's, or but's about it. This commercial is for something that NEVER existed.
