Intacs Korneal Implantları, keratokonus hastalarındaki miyopiyi ve astigmatı düzeltmek veya azaltmak, dolayısıyla da fonksiyonel görüşlerini geri kazandırarak korneal transplant prosedürünü potansiyel olarak erteleyebilmek için tasarlanmış bir oftalmik tıbbi üründür. Description of the Device Intacs prescription inserts, are an oftalmic medical device designed for the reduction or elimination of myopia and astigmatism in patients with keratoconus so that their functional vision may be restored and the need for a corneal transplant procedure can potentially be deferred. When placed in corneal stroma, outside of the patient's central optical zone, the product reduces the cone by flattening the cornea. The INTACS product has been designed to allow removal or replacement.
