i'm in the us army. this is my third christmas in a row i haven't been home. i'm in afghanistan right now. and this video hits hard. the care packages people send mean so much to us and keeps us happy, trust me. i was happy to open a package today and get beef jerky and kool-aid jammers. so thanks to anyone supporting the military and a special thanks to those who take the time to send those amazing care packages.

Im a 17 year old cadet and this made me cry. Not only knowing people from my old unit in the service, but knowing some of them are deployed. I hope they have plenty of people around to spend christmas with. The Army better be keeping Jenn safe in Afghanistan and James safe in Kuwait.

Okay this makes me cry every time i watch this . I get it says daddy but this song hits home for my brother who is in the Marine corps . Right now he is in basic & wont be here for Christmas & this is our first Christmas without him . He is my other half & my only sibling , I love this so much . I'm so happy to say I have & know someone special fighting for our country . Thank you to everyone who has fought or fighting for our country . I <3 you Ian , see you after Christmas <3

This song makes me think of my newborn daughter as I am a soldier also, luckily she will not have to be apart from me this Christmas. My support goes out to my other brothers and sisters in arms that aren't as lucky as me, this CHristmas and any to come.
