  • is it that hard for someone with 0 knowledge in wood working to make one?

  • I had a friend make the wood for me. I found plans at jakobud, and just shrunk the numbers to the size I wanted. I don't think it would be impossible, but you definitely need the right tools. I like your ikea-flat-pack idea. I actually might try to do it when I get some free time.

  • Why not just buy a gp2x on ebay and use that to make a really mini arcade about the size of the original coleco mini-arcade machines? Just take the gp2x apart and put the lcd in the screen part and wire up the controls.

    ive ordered a ps one screen as has video input .just gotta work out how to fit a pc in little cab for mame.

    machine will be about 20"

  • man you really should make just like ikea style furniture , just a flat pack arcade kit , unpainted , nothing more than the case & plans how to set it up
