Most interesting. Jerry Reed used his ring finger for picking as well. Great sound - he makes it look easier than it actually is.

I've been working on developing this sort of style. It isn't easy. Some people have more of a dexterity for it.

@samfrombelgium i think there's no overdrive. On stage darrel play with a peavey delta blues without any pedal on it except a danelectro echo pedal.
