Month of ATARI 2600 Day 14 - Yar's Revenge

Another atari produced game that actually..doesn't suck. Who is yar? And why does he need revenge? I don't know , personally.

Good old game. I got good enough to play it until the game crashed and said "hshwsh" in text or something like that...

Hehe I BROKE Yars revenge when I used my cannon, HIT a Swirl in mid flight, and flew into the BLACK bar of the destruct sequence of of the swirl and It made my ATARI freeze up until you had to start over again.

Thinking it was individual-game -specific.. years later I did the same thing on the ATARI emulated on my PC and.. the Results are the same.. *giggles*

Yeah, hell the game came with a COMIC BOOK to explain the story. It's very cute and 1980's.

Classic - I had this when I was six. Drove me mad when i kept dying. Did anyone managed to hit the swirl after it had been fired?
