That's my hair you're describing. I'm loose at the moment but having 3 natural heads to do plus mine, I let my twist-out sit a little to long and then did a lazy wash and let that sit a couple a days and of course my naps are free-form locs and now I'm sitting on you-tube while doing this epic detangle. Like yours, my hair just wants to loc so bad.

I think I going to go ahead and let it do what it do.

I roll mine with the plastic part of the sponge roller. I took all the sponges off the rollers (used them for some science projects LOL) and only use the plastic part. They are more comfortable to sleep in than the perm rods you described. Also there are these things called Lock Loops that I hear people raving about. I don't have those yet, but as my baby locs grow, I will consider buying them. Your hair is beautiful and so are you. Thanks for the vid.
