This is a gross abomination. A Bar Mitzvah is the celebration of a Jew becoming an adult an being able to fulfill the 613 commandments of the Tanakh. A dog cannot fulfill those commandments. This is making fun of the Jewish people. A Bark Mitzvah is a horrible action to the Jewish religion.

If you want to show kindness and throw a party for your dog, do that. It's called a birthday party. A Bar Mitzvah is not a party. It is a serious religious event and a coming of age experience.

I just think about my dogs. None of them whould enjoy such an event. To tell the truth, I think most of the dogs won't. But if you are sure Nicky enjoyed it, it's ok.

Because some people do things to the dogs which they think it's cute, but the dogs don't like it at all. Like putting costums on Purim and so on.

Anyway, if you raised a big amount of money to help homeless animals worldwide - I solute you.
