Johnny Hallyday born June 15, 1943 in Paris, France & is a French singer & actor.
An icon in the French-speaking world since the very beginning of his career, some consider him to be the French equivalent of Elvis Presley. He has had a 51 years career in the music industry and is one of France's biggest stars. He has made 402 tours, had 21 platinum albums, performed in front of 16 million people, and sold 126million discs since the beginning of his career. Today Hallyday is still seen as a top stage performer, giving first class shows in crowded stadiums. Yet Hallyday remains largely unknown outside of France and French-speaking countries, being often nicknamed in English-speaking countries as the biggest rock star you've never heard of.

Bien qu'on ose le comparer au King Elvis, le style de Johnny Hallyday se rapproche plutot de celui de Billy Idol que d'Elvis.

On le compare uniquement à Elvis parce qu'il est le 1er en France a avoir chanté le RocknRoll venu des USA et attirant des admirateurs fanatiques. Johnny à repris en Francais plus de 45 titres du KING.
