@michelle716100 The only original member in this video is Doris Coley, the lead singer in the video. Doris passed away about 3-5 years after this was filmed. The original lead singer on the record, Shirley Alston is still around and does oldies shows and Beverly Lee leads her own group of Shirelles. She has a 50th anniversary video on You Tube with two other singers

Its definitely difficult to cover a song so iconic as this and make it your own, but I think Amy Winehouse did a fabulous job in her version.

I think her voice improved over the years. I guess even the best can get better.

It still sounds good and the big thing they didnt change it for the times. They left it the same and thats what I love about it , a classic. If you have a good thing dont change it.
