  • Looks and works well. Is it automated or are you manually actuating the pneumatic valve?

  • I am manually doing it. I show the toggle switch in the beginning of the video. thanks for the comment

  • I think that you performed a masterful job engineering this can crusher. I am sure that it will revolutionize the way cans are crushed. I would like to purchase one. Where can I make this purchase? Thank you!!!

  • sorry, I only made this for fun. It would be hard to ship out an entire garbage can in the mail.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • I like it! look at mine

  • Very nice. Would love to have known, the pressure set point (in psi or bar), of the air supply going into the cylinder, and perhaps the size (rating of the cylinder). Great job nonetheless.

  • luke..shhhh...im your father...shhhhhh

  • try using 3bar mite be quicker

  • It's Darth Vader!

  • What kind of PSI are you using for this? I may end up borrowing heavily from this for an upcoming competition. Thanks!

  • you should make a detachable feeder. perhaps out of a basket of sorts so you can stack them up and then not have to put them in manually. the would be the cherry on top of the icecream for me! :P

  • You could just ship the lid.

and if you have time you should build an automated loading system... and a finger guard.

  • woud you please give me a list of parts to buy so i can make this very cool can crusher? thanks jim

  • Hrmm... Can't imagine this would pass many first-world county's safety standards, but nicely done. Check mine out.
