Buggy Boy - Amstrad CPC

Definately not the best racer on the cpc, but still quite fun. Must admit ive always played this game quite "relaxed" and just for the fun of it. The changing of gears actually does mean something in this game, unlike other games, where its "just for show". Changing gear at the right moment can save you from collision or give you enough edge to manage to grab that time extention flag in the last moment.

Cannot believe the speed on this conversion when the 464 is far more capable of this..Looks like it is slow motion! Allthough the colour destroys other 8 bit versions and the sound is like the atari 2600!

It took 7 years to load, and that horrible noise arrrrrrggggggghhhhh Press play then any key !!

Not bad I suppose. Better than the CPC version of Outrun (but what isn't). Not on a par with Chase HQ or WEC Le Mans though.
