  • This REALLY misrepresents John Calvin. First, he did NOT kill Servetus, and did not want him to be burned. Pastor John Calvin was a humble preacher, a wonderful Christian man. Servetus was a Heretic and the capital punishment for that day was death by fire, that is just how it was, today, a capital punishment is lethal injection, no better. John Calvin was a good Christian man. Not to lift him up or anything, but this totally misrepresents him. Servetus denied the Trinity, he is in Hell.

  • @ArmorOfGodMinistries "Pastor" John Calvin was part of the underground Geneva Mafia and ordered a hit on Servetus after he came back to one of his sermons... from the dead. Get your facts straight.

  • Pastors Knox, Calvin, etc. were open air ninjas. There really is no debate amongst historians. It was part of John Calvin's plan to eradicate heretics secretly, without using overt political power.

  • @RagingHamster NO, none of that has historical fact to it. Pastor Calvin, Pastor Knox, etc... were open air preacher and wished for the True Gospel to preached to all people. Calvin had no political power, ever.
