The History of Apple Computer was a project that I had to do for a film class my freshman year in college. I found an old VHS at my local library with old interview footage with Steve Jobs "Triumph of the Nerds" and began ripping it into my computer. It was all edited in Final Cut Express 2. I had Final Cut Express 1 and version 2 just came out so I purchased it to create this movie. My dad and I worked on this movie for weeks trying to learn Final Cut Express. After we burned our first CD we tried to clean up all the extra footage in Final Cut Express to clear HD space. We ended up throwing away the scratch disk and lost the whole project. Luckily we already burned it to a CD so I was able to rip it back to my computer to have. This movie was made in 2004-2005 not exactly sure the year. I remember us going to the North Michigan Ave store in Chicago sometimes to take free workshops to learn Final Cut Express and even Final Cut Pro. We would sometime spend the whole day down there just learning, we go out for lunch and come back to learn some more. It is amazing to see how far Apple has came in just a few short years. This is also a tribute to Steve Jobs, someone who has changed my world forever.
