I've had Lock Right Lockers in my first Jeep, ARB Air Lockers in my 2nd. and now Detroit Soft Lockers. The Detroits are quieter than my Lock Rights were. Occasionally they do make that "ping" sound. It sounds like something just broke. Lol. The Jeep is Semi-Retired for offroad. At least until my kids are just a bit older. Driven it every day for 8 years now. No issues. Apparently the Detroits are very strong. I've had a bit of fun on asphalt with this 407hp. V8. Lol.
