Rubber Soul is supposed to be one of the people who is after Jotaro and his gang.
He uses his stand Yellow Temperance to disguise himself as Kakyoin. But the thing is though, he needs to devour Kakyoin to assume his form, but he was able to turn into Kakyoin without even trying.
Rubber Soul and Kakyoin are so similiar that the voice actor for Kakyoin is also the voice actor for Rubber Soul and he can do reroreros like Kakyoin. (Read the manga.) He looks like Kakyoin most of the time in HFTF.

Truth about Rubber Soul. He's one of my mains in JJBA. A while back, me and a friend of mine had a fuckton of RS vs RS fight. I tell ya, those were the most epic matches I've ever had.

It's not. Might look that way, but he's not.
Visually he is, yes, just Kakyoin with worse sprites.
Gameplay-wise, Kakyoin's a trap-based, pokey character, medium-long range, with good combos.
Rubber Soul is footsie/zoning-based, pokey, medium-short range, with no combo potential.
Yeah, he's not too accurate to the manga. A lot of people don't give him the credit he deserves, though. He might be a boring character but he can be effective.

Thats who Rubber Soul is. Something that masked himself as Kakyoin and hung out with Jotaro to try and kill him.
