Obama victory celebration outside the White House this morning at 3am

I took this video this morning of celebrations at 3am outside the White House in Washington DC after Obama's victory speech. In the middle of the revelry it occurred to me that John Lennon would have loved to have been there also, witnessing this historic moment, celebrating the election of the first African-American President. Lennon and many others like him, as part of the broader civil rights movement, had hoped that a day like this would come, and yesterday, it finally did. Last night was a very poignant moment in US social history.

These kids now have some hope that they won’t have to go to war over oil.

Reports that Bin Laden's body were buried at sea are untrue (just another CIA smokescreen). The head was removed for delivery to the Iranian Council of Imams and the body sent to a halal butcher shop in Kosovo for processing and sale as 'lamb'.
