On Thursday leaders of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) met with Burmese army troops Laja Yan for formal talks between the two Armies. This is the first time they have met since fighting broke between the two groups out over three three weeks ago, effectively ending their 17-year long ceasefire agreement. KIA deputy military chief, Brig-Gen Gun Maw called for more transparency.

  • I don't think it brings any kind of peace if KIA does agreement or not bcz the historical back ground of Burmese Military regime is so bad and a criminal Junta they are the biggest deciever nation on this earth.
