Colonial Heights, VA, Hosts HOG Parade of Flags

On June 24, 2011, the City of Colonial Heights, Virginia, hosted the Virginia Harley Owners Group Rally Parade of Flags as more than 1,500 riders rode their Harley motorcycles from Colonial Heights to Petersburg, Virginia. Hundreds of Colonial Heights residents turned out to enjoy the thunder as these magnificent machines and their riders roared down the Boulevard. Dignitaries from the independent cities of Colonial Heights, Hopewell and Petersburg rode convertibles and were escorted in the parade by local law enforcement officials, many riding their police Harleys. The event was truly an exciting time for spectators and lovers of motorcycles.
