Thanks for posting this with lyrics. Back in 1976-77 a couple of friends and I in Richmond, VA/USA were buying all the Sixties Golden Earrings records we could find. Mostly reissue but I had the 2 Capitol LPs and found an original Dutch mono copy of the 1st LP at a NYC record show. We'd go around singing Please Go, making up the words, joking, having great fun and people thought we were not with it. The spoken part was the most fun of all. Now I finally know the words. More fun... thanks.

Op deze foto is Barry Hay afgebeeld.Volgens mij maakte Barry Hay op het moment van deze opname geen deel uit van de groep.Als ik goed ben ingelicht kwam Berry er in 1968 bij.Maar maakt opzich niet zoveel uit.Deze Haagse formatie heeft wel degelijk bewezen wat muziek maken is onder Berry Hay scoorden ze met Back Home,Rader Love en When the lady smiles wereldhits.Met Rader Love zelfs een notering in de Amerikaanse Charts.Ones a Golden Earing,Allways a Golden Earing Forever.

Het gekke is dat Japie Eggermont en Frans Krassenburg allebei een vriendin hadden in Duindorp te Scheveningen,

Frappant dat ze allebei een enorm succes hadden buiten de Golden Earring (s)nadat ze eruit waren geknikkerd, meer verdiend dan alle leden van de GE bijelkaar,

en of huwelijken met deze dames hebben helaas geen stand gehouden,

een buurtgenoot.
