In this video, Pat Condell promotes UKIP (UK Independent Party), a party I dislike utterly. I dislike BNP (British National Party) a lot more and I really know UKIP is different from BNP. That does not make UKIP a good party.

UKIP has quite some idiocy in their ideas and plans, and a lot of idiots in their candidates and leaders. Several times they have showed racist ideas and way too often they have spoken out against science and the scientific approach.

That is one side. At this moment, that was enough for me to unsubscribe from Pat's channel. Maybe I should have waited for more videos by Pat.

The other side for me is: Pat Condell is (was?) one of my heroes of the spoken word, of the outrage against religion and myth. I probably dislike his political views, but I do not dislike his aversion against religion and stupidity. And now stupid people have his video removed. That's why I mirror his video. Not because I agree with the video, but because I want to promote freedom of speech and freedom of thought.

As Voltaire is believed to have said (seems he didn't): "I may not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it".
