On Oct 15, 2009 Isiak was able to meet Gary V and Martin Nievera at the pre-concert formal dinner held at the Omni Hotel in Houston, Texas. It was a dream come true for both of us. Originally we were hoping to land a gig as an opening act for their "As One" concert the follow night, but unfortunately we weren't able to seal the deal. However, we still attended the party and little did we know, Isiak was asked to sing for the dinner party. Needless to say, he was very nervious but at the same time very honored to perform for so many organizers and producers of many Filipino concerts held in the US. We met so many nice people there. Special thanks to Tita Divine, of Omni hotel for being so encouraging and nice to us. We really are thankful that you would invite us to other gigs like the Lea Salonga concert on Nov 6 and we hope that Isiak can sing at many more functions.
I apologize for the begining part fo the song was cut off...I was so excited that Isiak got called to sing that I forgot to hit "record" but it does start at the first chorus line so you basically just missed the introduction and first verse. Sorry about that. lol Seems like I always mess up on Isiak's live audience performances.
Special thanks to Filtex for providing us VIP formal dinner tickets and to Chris for having us at the dinner.
This is Isiak's renditions of the Lani Misalucha classic "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin" (Perhaps I May Love You Tomorrow). We have always loved this beautiful ballad and wanted to do our version of the song especially for the wonderful composer Jimmy Borja. We really hope you like our rendition as we tried to make it our own. Isiak spent hours learning the words and learning how to play the piano to make it a unique version for everyone. We truly hope you all enjoy this as we are going to record a studio version and have a FREE MP3 to download Isiak's cover song. If you like what you hear and see, please leave a comment and subscribe :)
