Great song (not his, mind........) but confused production, i.e. too many things going on. Check out the live version he did on Jules Holland though - reduced me to tears.

Without Paul Thompson on there as the drummer, it doesn't grab me.
I never even bought this album.

I'm a Ferry fan from the beginning. However I have to admit not being overwhelmed by the last few albums. Wonderful tracks on each one, but not the overwhelming, exotic excitement of yore. Olympia, on the other hand, is an absolute return to form. Strange, beautiful, and a complexity of sound that defies description. The man still has it.

My favorite song from Olympia...it touches me profoundly. Can't wait for your concert on 1st of May in Bucharest. I'll be waiting to put a spell on me with your great voice and wonderful music, though I'm already under your spell for years.

Thank you, Bryan. This song is simply brilliant, moving and passionate, and getting a peek into your creative process is a genuine treat. Surely it will take its place among your best songs. Cheers... [=
