Off corse i know: the pre rotate handle is history, the new model got a full automatic pneumatic actuator with a seperate air pump and valves. Only change selector from brake to fly, use the pushboton on the stick, thats it. The upper belt pully to groove to get more force without slipping, the belt is reinforced.

Hi EMG, up to now i did no changes, all original ELA. The brand new system for all new ELA Gyrocopter, year 2010, is permitted up to 330 rotor rpm (if necessary) !!!!!

Yes I just spoke to Neil Sheather , our Australian ELA distributor. Neil does a wonderful job in terms of customer service down here and has actually been retrofitting the pneumatic actuator system to all of the Australian delivered machines for some time. Apparently the difference with the latest model is a smaller top pulley which changes the gearing.
