This first episode of the Recabinet Training Video series focuses on emulating a multi-microphone setup on a virtual Marshall cabinet. With Recabinet, you can emulate this approach very quickly, inserting each virtual microphone into the picture by duplicating a track in your recording software, allowing you to make comparisons much faster than fussing with mic positioning in real life.

Hi, a have a problem, when a run recabinet in cubase 5 a listen a dirty noise, some like hhuumm, and ai not have idea of how fixed, thanx.

Hi, video is great ! But how do/did you manage phasing problems ?

I mean 2 mics in different distance- it occured not just in real life, but also with Recab too ... or at least in my project... Thanks for answering !

@gregparadi Either download the free Recabinet 2.1 update, or upgrade to our new plugin Recabinet 3. Both are fully phase coherent.

Hey Shane; good video. It would be quite useful to hear recabinet in a full mix, with all of the quad-tracking glory that you refer to at the end of the video. Gives people an idea of what they can achieve if they put in the effort!

Y'know I bought Recabinet quite some time ago but never got around to using it seriously until my copy of Superior Drummer 2.0 came in the other day. I was using the 121 and 57 both on the cap on the grill from what little my memory recalled from this video and the tone was alright. I just revisited this video, followed the steps, and now my tone is massive and cuts brilliantly. Thank you so much for this video and Recabinet!
