Every episode of The Hindsight Years has hours of footage that don't actually make it into the webisode.

When I started filming Katia's video, my intention was to put A LOT of focus on physical exercise. Yet, her story wound up taking a different direction. There was no way to segue into this sequence without straying from the story line.

This is Beto Miranda, Katia's personal trainer for 10 years. In Brazil, a trainer is nowhere near as expensive as North America!

Beto dedicates one hour a day, three times per week, with Katia. Her exercises range from stretching, to balance, co-ordination, passive, upper body, lower body, and swimming.

  • What is the beautiful purple plant in the background. Patients can use exercisers and massagers also to held increase circulation and build muscle strength.
