  • I killed a shoveler yesterday! It was a drake but he was real young and his head hadn't turned yet

  • Its not the water. Taste is almost all about diet. Compare Saup and Canvasbacks. Animal matter in the diet usually gives duck meat a much stronger taste that some people dislike. I myself don't discriminate against any ducks.
