Sad that a good movie was made for a piece of shit country like Turkey :)

is this movie worth 2 buy?

I would not buy it as Billy Hayes has stated in interviews that the movie is inaccurate and misleading! I take him at his word, because he is the only one who knows the truth. I did see it on cable a few years ago, but I would not buy it, even though I love Brad Davis who starred in the movie!

i think the makers of this film have serious problems with their perception I mean in every way...if I didnt see istanbul and turkish people in turkey...I would probably think they were arabs..and would think women are all covered with that black thing beside I havent seen one of them on my visit :)..and now i completely believe that is based on a true story...yea no doubt XD XD

i have to say that this movie talks to much about xenofobia,hate and rascism. its very impresive, if u saw it one you dont know if back to see it or not

This was a longggg....time ago before the law was fair!! get that through your thick skulls!! ok! and this is BASED on a true story!! so it was all real! many people here on this earth are very racist and most of you people from turkey are being all racist at the moment!! god! the movie isn't saying that turkey is a bad place NOW!!! so seriously get that through your frickin stupid thick heads!!!

I've been living in Turkey for 30 years and haven't seen that kind of people and places in there. They have no idea about how beatiful contry it is.

If this story was real, millions of tourists would not come Turkey every year.
