I knew that if you inhaled helium and tried to speak your voice rises considerably. But what about when you don't use vocal cords? Would it have the same effect when you speak with helium and an artificial larynx? Here's the answer.
(Sorry about the sound quality. I had the mic volume a little too high.)

    it is possible to get an electrolarynx that changes pitch depending on how hard you press the button.

  • My uncle uses a voice box! he sounds like that! i hope one day they find a thing that they can install in a thing in your throat that makes ya talk like ya did! for all the peole without vocal vocal cords god bless ya!

    So I can't understand. You have no vocal cords, so nothing is vibrating in your throat. What makes the little diaphragm in the Vox vibrate??? If that is indeed how your Vox works.
