"If you're not a part of the sollution, you're a part of the problem", reminds me a little of "If you are not with us, you are against us". I think some people don't vote (and only some of them) because you don't really have that much influence. You vote for someone or someones you think you sort of agree with, who then must compete with others to win, and then you can hope they do as you hope they will do. It should all be just a little closer to the majority of people.

JPMetz?

But I would argue that presidents are part of the problem, so I won't be a part of it.

Right on Tyler! I'm going to be 18 this year and the thing I'm most excited about is being able to vote when the time comes. It makes me so mad when people my age say they just don't care about voting/all the candidates are the same/they aren't into politics and therefore will not be voting. Excuse me, but at age eighteen, it's pretty stupid to be that lazy and submissive. <3

Reminds me of "The ends justify the means.." but in a good way (:

Actually, based on probability, the chance that the same person would win if 100% of the people voted opposed to 63% is pretty good.
The 43% is divided upon both Dem and Repub, one cannot presume that the entire 43% or majority of it is all Republicans and Repubs would have won had they voted or vice versa.
However, if this video or other propaganda convinces only Dems to vote and say 83% goes out and votes but the last 17% (mostly Repubs now) don't, then it may make all the difference.

You're extremely convincing.

@christopher81818 And I hope this nation can become a more accepting and peaceful country too. And unless we get more presidents like Obama in, we aren't going to be seeing that soon. The song Imagine by John Lennon honestly should be our manta. It's my beliefs exactly

@WhatAboutJacob804 I completely agree with you. While we might differ on strategy, I'm sure we share the same goals of a more free and equal society. :)
Yeah Tyler!
Bravo - I know you probably get this a lot, but what you're doing here really is empowering. I'm 16 and out and gay and I think what you've done is amazing.
For those who disagree, keep your homophobic slanderous comments to yourselves.
