The piggie we had did something similar when it heard the specific sound of my brother's sandals comming downstairs. They learn to recognize sounds that imply food XD

Um, guinea pigs don't know their names. One there is a bag being shook in the back ground causing her to squeak, that's why she is doing that.

Haha, well, to her, "Jigsaw" has always meant food... which is why she squeaks when she hears it. When we first got her, she used to respond to bags. =P
