That was cool especially since I finally just watched "Seabiscut" over the weekend and one of my favorite movies is "A day at the races" also filmed at Santa Anita. : )

People dress up to go see the horse races back in the old days? Why did they stop now? I can go to Walmart and see many people dressing like slobs nowadays. Nobody wants to look good in public anymore. Is it laziness or a change in society?

@LaoSoftware These days, only the owners dress for the races! Have you seen the website "people of wal-mart"? LOL! There's a new series on HBO called "Luck", all about horse racing in Southern Cal- especially Santa Anita. With Dustin Hoffman, Dennis Farina, Nick Nolte, and Jill Hennessy- and the supporting cast is terrific.
