Now... does the rocket only go ten feet in the air, or is my computer lagging?

Jumping and rocketry oppose gravity but are not antigravity. What's meant by antigravity is the actual negation of gravity itself by controlling the local gravitational field to the point where a propulsion system is realized. It is, effectively, creating thrust without impulse. I don't know if it is possible to have thrust without impulse, but some are working on it.

I mean using force fields to create artificial asymmetric gravity well for propulsion

you clearly dont know what your talking about. anything that opposes gravity is antigravity. that means the force given off by rockets exceeds the gravitational force, producing a certain antigravity of (Fp-Gfe)N, this force is antigravity. if you meant something else then educate me.

Antigravity

should they use a canon, dont say alternative technology and then dont make suggestions.

Is that my internet connection so poor? :)

Awesome! Congrats to SpaceX.

And your figures to show that? EVERY SINGLE civilised nation except the USA has free healthcare, many have free higher education. Obama is for free healthcare and education. Look how the nation has been bankrupted by foreigh oil, and two Iraq wars for control of oil. Oil and fossil fuels age is drawing to a close, as we speak.
Kickass!! Way to go SpaceX!!
