This is the first time I have "walked" in nearly two years! first time I have EVER been out without medical equipment! It was a VERY exciting day! I have suffered from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome that spread throughout my entire body. I was bed bound for 5.5 months under a blanket tent and had to have my body moved for me... I couldn't move on my own as my left hand side "shut down"... Its been a LOOOOOONG HARD road! And its not over yet, but I am closer to where I EVER have been so far!
We went down to a local restaurant for coffee before dinner and as I have been learning how to "walk" holding onto Dad... I have never been out in public outside my walker, never sat in a chair outside of homes and never worn shoes! It was a HUGE step in the right direction! I couldnt sit or over 7 months AT ALL... I had to relearn how to sit, so its been a huge journey! It was a big step to sit in a sofa chair in public! I even wore ballet flat style shoes for the first time!!
There is a video of me walking out from the seating, but Mum filmed again, as we were coming out the hallway... So this is the second video... I didn't know she was filming... I have a LONG way to go... I am putting ALOT of weight down through Dads arm and he is keeping me upright, but its a good step huh? It can only be up from here! hehe.... As you can see, I still cant do the stairs, but I will get there with that in time too!!! WAHO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kylee, That was amazing. You did such a good job walking all that distance. You looked beautiful on Dad arm and loved mom's sweet encouragement, so sweet. Keep up the good work!

Very nice, Kylee! Love the "bye" at the end, smile and all..
Your hair's getting longer, seems to me.
Good job on the walking, the shoes and all and thanks for letting us share your "walk through".
