Deathly Hallows •• On My Own

Hello! :) Im finally back with a new video, after four months and more! This time its a HP video .. again. It pretty much only focuses on the chapter The Forest Again of Deathly Hallows, and on memories of Harry of what has happened in the past. I always wanted to vid that chapter, because it is so touching and literally makes you crying.

Video Summary: Deathly Hallows. Harry is in Dumbledores office, after seeing Snapes Memory, lying on the floor, full of pain and angst of what he has to do. He realizes what a wonder he is, with his body, his mind, his soul. He relives all the years he has spent at Hogwarts, with Ron, Hermione, and the pain he had to go through because of Voldemort.
But not one single second he forgets what he was chosen for. Then he gathers all his courage and goes into the forest, where he opens the golden snitch, sees his parents, his godfather, Lupin. At the end they disappear again, because Harry has to fulfil a task - on hos own.

„Just keep my mind burning strong: Into the gaping emptiness Ill go on my own.

This is by far the line that inspired me to vid this song to Deathly Hallows the most, because I think it fits perfect. Harry doesnt want to get distracted or strayed from the right path, the path he has to go to make the world a better world. To make those steps he has to walk into the gaping emptiness, which I interpreted as the death itself all alone, and on his own.

EDITING: As you can (hopefully) see, I changed my style a lot. I was told that my vids focus on the effects, not on the emotion, so I tried to change that: I put flashy effects in the background and used more subtle ones. I also didnt want to destroy the flow of this beautiful song, and this may have supported the decision. I only added blurs, zooms and Particle Illusion effects.
And you also have no idea how much time I spent to find a decent coloring for Harry Potter. Now you know what Ive been doing those three months .. ;)

This one goes to Heni. Why? Because I love her. Because shes always there for me. And because I love making up future plans with her. :D Plus, she also kind of inspired this video, because after watching her amazing instrumental video I really felt like vidding DH. Thank you, hun!
