Anyone who listens with their eyes and not with their ears would agree with you. Listen with your ears and you will hear for yourself how emotional Heifetz's playing is. It's a known fact that people who think Heifetz played unemotionally are bad musicians. Ask any serious violinist if they like Heifetz and they'll tell you. I bet Vengerov LOVES Heifetz.

@ohja4 Where do you get your information? from a cracker Jack box because you seemed to have your head up your cracker jack box squeezing the oxygen off to your brain and making your already tone deaf ears completely deaf. The tempo deviations are perfect and definitely not out of place. Maxim excels in his ability to master this composition including the rubato which is an integral part of this composition.....

@craisslayer Actually, it is a fact. You won't find a single decent musician who thinks that Heifetz played unemotionally. You'll find a lot of people who don't like his playing, but no decent musician will say that they dislike him because he's unemotional.
