A short video about hip-hop culture at Williams College, a small liberal arts college in Massachusetts. Williams is an elite academic institution with a predominantly white student population, and is far removed from hip-hop's native grounds of the South Bronx, NY; but somehow a little bit of that 'wild style' made it's way to Berkshire County...

...found this video by accident...nonetheless, was very dissapointed at the shallow answers posed even by these "rappers"... there is no doubt that they are still underclassmen and need a long way to go before making a serious critical comment about the state of "hip-hop" even at a place like williams... they looked like deer caught with headlights pointed at them....mmmmm....SMH...

As a an alumnus its interesting to see what we helped foment has taken hold, however if you think Williams is mostly middle class you have a very skewed view of class dynamics in the modern US
