I just took the action out of my piano, you wouldn't believe the junk in there (but no spoons or straws) lol I was surprised to feel how heavy the action is...

@deemilieu I'm not an expert, but yes, you can. Pianos are not THAT delicate, especially older ones made from the wood that doesn't exist anymore.
