To fix the current budget gap of $145 million, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker wants to limit state employees' ability to collectively bargain, and hopes to require them to pitch in 12 percent of health care premiums and match the State's contribution to their pension plans.

MacIver News Service's Bill Osmulski reports from Madison.

  • @kadkins3663 What are YOU talking about? Have a clue before posting, tard. I was replying to the jerk-off who insinuated that I was unemployed. My insurance has gone up nearly every year. If I don't l;ike it, I can either drop it or find work elsewhere. My choice, no one elses. If it weren't for liberals like you, I might be a moderate, but it's your tactics and lack of fact presentation that has pushed me to the right. Congratulations!

  • @tootsandgrizz Listen to the old scared white republican baby-boomer idiot. If he acquired cancer, this imbecile would be the first to acquire aid,. Way to go, vote for the dopey-eyed Walker, idiot

  • @erikdeerly.....yes, i do have a job. For the last 26 years as a matter of fact, and have NEVER been unemployed. Stand on your own two feet or fall, Just because you work for a union, you thugs feel that you represent everyone else in Wis that works. Your days, like summer are just about over. maybe you'd like to send a couple hundred bucks a month my way to help support me? ( doubt it)

  • @johnreyn100 You can talk until the money runs out or you can do something now. It's all coming to an end. You can keep your head in the sand or you can be prepared. If you have an answer for the extensive problems Former US Comptroller General David Walker is trying to warn us about (watch?v=xjmCiDB_72g ) please let us all know. The Unions only care about themselves but MY taxes have to fund them and their members. Nobody else funds my retirement account. It's time to say ENOUGH! No More!

  • DOUCHE WALKER

  • @mgdicehouse Corporate managers have seniority and it doesn't matter what they do (like tank the entire economy, shifiting blame to public workers) and they keep getting paid (and now recieve more).

This is what corporations do, prop up those who don't care (they can externalize economic risk, environmental destruction). There might be some CEOs who dont want to destroy their children's future but they cant choose that (legally bound to maximize profits before all else).

    Corps need to go!

  • Walker will havebeen great for Wisconsin's Democratic Party. Where have all the good-hearted fiscally intelligent Republicans gone? Where are the Eisenhowers, those Republicans who understood that a modern superpower needed social programs along with smart money management?

  • he has no respect for the men and women of the working class. he is not fit for this possition look at what he did to milwakee

  • @lolololoolllool There is nothing wrong with public education that less money won't fix. We can no longer over fund public education.

  • @httm241 your comment proves Scott Walker is correct, public unions are disfunctional, and certainly out of touch with a troubled economy. FDR was correct, Jimmy Carter was correct and Ronald Reagan was correct.
