Aye fair point my friend, but at least they have the choice to separate now, whether they take it or not is another matter entirely, and with how much they are subsidized by the UK as a whole, it would be harder times but I believe the Scottish can overcome it, there is no reason why they can't separate amicably now that the Monarchy has fuck all to say in matters.

@TheWickentower Although, I agree with your kilts argument (I wear one myself), and your bagpipes argument; the Scots didn't have too much of a choice to join England. For the Scots, it would have either been to sign the treaty and be annexed, or face a possible invasion from the English that they wouldn't have been able to win.
