My Car on Fire on the Coldest day of the year (-46)

My car picked the most inopportune times to catch on fire... it was about -40 this morning... brrrr!

@civicxXxturbo The house burning was almost a reality...the cord we think caused all this was originally purchased for the christmas lights we were going to put on the house. we were very very very lucky.

it was a 2004 Kia Rio. It was a good little car... great on gas... and i was very happy with it... until it lit on fire...

how horrible... did you save your Christmas gift? Also wondering... did you have a block heater to the car since it was so cold? Wondering if thats what caused the fire?
